Stop the Cull - It's a Black and White Issue

WHO WE ARE

We are only a small group but we have achieved much and can be justly proud of our record in aiding the many badgers that have needed our help.
The need for local badger groups with enthusiasm and expert knowledge is as great as it has ever been. They ensure that badgers continue to be a welcome part of our wildlife heritage.

WHO ARE BADGERS?

The name badger is probably derived from the French word ‘bécheur’ meaning digger. ‘Brock’ probably originated in Scandinavia and is retained in the gaelic languages.
Badgers belong to the Mustelidae (weasel) family of carnivores. The weasel, otter, polecat, marten, mink, fisher, grison, sable, skunk and wolverine are all close relatives.
